The enemy has reached Alpha-Alpha-1! The galaxy has fallen!

The time has come to fight back and defeat the Deadly Alien Rogues!

DAR is an arcade-style single-screen shoot-em-up inspired by the classics, with some modern rogue-like twists!

Select from multiple characters, journey through over 100 different planets, choose between over 60 different upgrades, more than 10 different weapons, and take on over 20 different bosses!

Pick your character, plot a course, upgrade your ship and destroy the enemy!

The ultimate goal? Saving the galaxy! Or just getting a really, really high score - your call.

Every time you play, you'll encounter a different collection of planets, powers and enemies that might drastically change the way you approach the game!

Each character has their own spread of starting abilities that might also influence your decision making - you'll have to make the most of what you find along the way, and defeat the enemy forces!

If you're having a hard time, the currency you acquire in each run can be used to influence the appearance rate of certain items, or be used to permanently upgrade characters between runs!

On the flipside, if you're having far too easy an experience, why not take some detrimental "upgrades" to boost your score and really show the world how good you think you are?

With simple-to-learn controls and the potential for complex scoring and character builds, there's room for everyone to enjoy themselves in their own way!

Steam Leaderboards are also supported!

Each combination of character and run type has its own unique leaderboard, so you can pick and choose your favourite way to play and compete against other like-minded players for the highest score!

Want to play a quick practice run with a fully upgraded character? Go for it!

How about an endless run starting with a character at their absolute weakest? Yep, that's fine too!

If you're not for direct competition, there's plenty of unique Steam Achievements, too!
