■ Overview

Control life forms that are represented by moving particles. Take pictures and fulfill mission objectives by using "mutation", "wind", and "activation". The simple yet addictive gameplay of the previous title has been developed to be more accessible, with greatly enhanced visuals and sound.

In this game, you take control of D Life forms - represented by a myriad of dots - in order to take pictures. Skilled D Life manipulation and precise picture-taking will result in a successful mission and a lot of points.

This edition of D Life has been greatly enhanced! Challenge a new genre of the game that is unlike anything else out there. Alongside the much larger screen, you can experience new features and game modes. D Life has evolved dramatically in every aspect!

■ Evolution from D Life

• In addition to the control methods of the previous game, “activation” and “avoiding” have been added.

• A new game mode, Caravan, has been added.

• New missions have been added to the previous game mode.

• You can now skip aspects you don't like by pressing the “skip” button.

However, you will not get a score for that aspect, so it is not good for score attack.

• A new sound system, completely different from the previous game, in which the music  changes as the game progresses.

  Two types of sound are included: a modern version and a retro version (C30 sound source)!

■ Sound

Under the expertise of industry legend Yuriko Keino, a new sound system that changes its music to reflect the current situation was developed. Players will experience a uniquely fresh soundscape in D Life 2.

Yuriko Keino, with works such as Dig Dug and XEVIOUS, helped define the classic era of video games. This time, there are two types of sound: modern and retro. The retro version utilizes the C30 sound source for added authenticity!

■ nanoKontrol2

Just like the previous entry, D Life 2 is compatible with nanoKontrol2, a popular device by Korg. The LED effects add an effect reminiscent of pinball. Creative usage of the nanoKontrol2 will make your experience with the D Life even more immersive. (The difficulty of the game is not affected by whether or not you own the device.)
