Deep within the folds... the darkness spreads its wings

You wake in a strange domicile, feeling the presence of far-removed eyes boring into your skull.

If you think this will be easy, you're wrong

Solve puzzles, remove obstacles, and outmanoeuvre threats in your quest for answers.

Find your way to the bottom of it all with no map, no compass, and no hints.

Uncover d̸e̷e̵p̴l̸y̴ ̴h̵i̶d̵d̶e̷n secrets even the original developers didn't know about.

Let yourself sink in...

The original game's DIRUS Materiality Engine allowed the player to experience cutting-edge immersion like no other virtual world available at the time. The world has moved on, but this remastered edition brings the Materiality Engine as-is into the modern era.

We have gone to great lengths to ensure the graphics are identical (with an optional NTSC filter) and left the original control scheme fully intact in the efforts of preserving the classic and original Apparatus experience.

They don't make them like they used to

This game is not for the faint of heart and was born from a different era of design—it will not hold your hand. Some have described it as unpleasant to play, others have grown too frustrated to continue.

It will confuse you.
