The Gundroid soundtrack is a direct homage to the metal of the '80s and '90s, and at the same time, a tribute to the brilliant, legendary video game soundtracks of that era. They both have this really similar energy: analog, grounded, authentic and raw, yet always delivered with a touch of self-irony

I have always been fascinated by how close compositions from games like Contra are to Iron Maiden tracks – it's all pure metal feel!  You can practically hear the bullet hell action in every rhythm and note. And at the end of the day, everything just has to explode!!

The Gundroid soundtrack takes you on a wild ride through that cool time, full of nostalgia and magic, with lots of nods to different metal styles.
