Located in Chiba Prefecture, Narita International Airport(NRT/RJAA) is Japan’s largest international airport. As a destination of many of the world’s airlines, it proudly serves a large number of both passenger and cargo aircraft. It is also Japan’s only airport with ramp control for apron areas. Operations at this busy airport are controlled through the combined efforts of the nation’s air traffic controllers and Narita’s own ramp controllers.

A wide variety of aircraft from all over the world fly into Narita International Airport. Because the airport covers a vast area, it can take considerable time to get around depending on which terminal or runway an airline uses. To prevent delays, you will need to correctly select runways and issue instructions to change taxi routes.
