Frontier: Path of Shadows Digital Artbook

Description

The Frontier is far bigger than the story of a single crew.

Beyond the familiar routes lie dozens of worlds, old powers and new colonies, pirates and corporations, forgotten technologies, strange forms of life — and countless other things best investigated with a good weapon and a working spacesuit close at hand.

The Frontier: Path of Shadows Digital Artbook features 52 pages of artwork, sketches, and material from the game’s universe. It offers a glimpse beyond what you see directly in Path of Shadows and reveals more of the world surrounding its characters.

Explore the worlds of the Inner Sphere, home to its most powerful factions — from biotech-driven Arborea to Centauri, a world partly immersed in the digital Matrix. Discover what people on the edge of civilization use to fight, protect themselves, and survive. Examine the ships of the Frontier, complete with technical specifications and concept sketches — from cheap pirate vessels to Utopian technology dating back to the Third Interstellar War. Take a closer look at bioconstructs, implants, equipment, and other pieces of everyday life in the 25th century.

The Frontier universe has been evolving for nearly 15 years and includes the tabletop role-playing game Frontier: Boundless Space and the wargame Frontier: Distant Stars. Over the years, the setting has grown into a richly detailed world filled with countless other stories still waiting to be told.
