3 Great Reasons to Get This DLC!
It expands the game to cover the crucial years from September 1945 to September 1949.
These early post-war years are packed with pivotal events that can reshape the world’s future.
It adds a brand-new playable nation: France!
Take control of France and face the unique challenges of rebuilding a nation caught between two superpowers.
A full Grand Campaign from 1945 to 1989!
Experience over four decades of Cold War history, from the ashes of WWII to the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Why Play as France?
Playing as France in a Cold War strategy game from September 1945 to 1989 offers a uniquely dynamic and challenging experience. You're not leading a superpower—but a proud, ambitious nation determined to punch above its weight.
From navigating post-war reconstruction and decolonization to asserting independence from both Washington and Moscow, France’s path is never linear. Will you follow de Gaulle’s vision of a “third way” and leave NATO’s command? Will you hold onto your crumbling empire—or redefine your global influence through diplomacy, nuclear power, and culture?
As France, every decision matters: from handling the Algerian War and the May 1968 protests to building the bomb and shaping the European Community. You are constantly balancing between decline and resurgence.
I am absolutely sure you will like it!

PS:
That DLC comes with more content than the other DLCs — and please forgive me for that.
It’s not really my fault… I’m French.
