PROJECT HUNT - HTR .338 Big Game Access Pack

Description

The HTR .338 is a heavy rifle built for serious big game.

It fires both .338 Soft Point and .338 Polymer Tip ammunition – the same powerful .338 rounds used by the AWM platform in the main game.

Normally, high-caliber rifles like this are something you only get much later in the game. With this pack, you start with .338 stopping power instead of grinding your way up to it.

How it works in-game

• You can claim the HTR .338 at any time once this DLC is owned.

• The rifle loads 3 rounds in the magazine + 1 in the chamber (4 total).

• The weapon is treated as unique gear: you can only hold one HTR .338 in your inventory at a time.

• If you lose or sell it, you can pull it again from the DLC stash – it’s never gone.

• The in-game currency cost of this DLC weapon is 0. You don’t have to farm money to buy it once you own the DLC

• The HTR .338 offers stopping power on the same level as the main-game .338 AWM, and it supports the same scope types.

• This pack is meant for hunters who want to be ready for high-tier, heavily armored animals without spending hours climbing the normal weapon ladder.

Key details

• HTR .338 high-caliber rifle included

• Uses .338 Soft Point and .338 Polymer Tip ammo

• Built to take on A+ grade animals (American bison, African buffalo)

• With penetration-focused rounds, you can even attempt S- grade animals (hippos, white rhinos) once you encounter them in the world

• 3+1 capacity (3 in mag, 1 chambered)

• Draw it any time from the DLC stash

• Only one copy can exist in your inventory at once

• Same general power class and scope options as the main-game .338 AWM

• This pack does not instantly unlock late-game animals or skip map progression requirements. You still have to naturally progress and discover higher-tier animals in the world. You’re just geared for them much earlier.
