About the Game

Real History, With Your Own Story

• Provinces and map tiles are based on real Roman regions and historical geography

• Major events draw from real history: endure the chaos of the Year of the Five Emperors, reshape your province during the Tetrarchy, and shape the faith through the Edict of Milan and the Edict of Thessalonica

• History sets the stage, but your decisions determine the outcome

Rule Wisely, Expand Strategically

• Strengthen your administration, grow your economy, and raise a capable army

• Research impactful technologies that unlock new buildings, policies, and strategic options

• Forge alliances and defense pacts, subdue rivals into client states, or undermine enemies through covert actions

• Pursue restoration your way with a curated mission system that guides, but never railroads, your run

Focus on Strategy, Not Clicks

• Make high-level decisions while tedious micromanagement is abstracted away

• No unit shuffling or manual battles - wars are resolved through preparation, planning, and a bit of fortune

Build A Long-Lasting Legacy

• Rome is not restored in a single run: each run earns Legacy based on your progress towards restoration

• Legacy makes future runs faster and stronger, allowing you to push further each time

Minimalist Look, Maximum Depth

• Clean, minimalist visuals run smoothly on a wide range of hardware - whether you have a potato PC or a beefy build

• Hardware resources saved on graphics are invested directly into the game’s strategic depth and replayability
