SliceForge
Description
Your music. Your map.
SliceForge turns an audio file into a custom map for Beat Saber. Load a track, choose your difficulties and style, then preview the notes in time with the music inside the app.The generator analyzes tempo, rhythm and song structure. Repeated sections can return with familiar patterns, while the controls let you make a map calmer, denser or more active.
Preview and tune
- Four difficulties: Easy, Normal, Hard and Expert.
- Four styles: Balanced, Classic, Flow and Fitness.
- Adjust note density, note speed and elements: walls, bombs, double hits, dot notes, chains and arcs.
- Choose a rhythmic focus: drums, or vocals and melody.
- See the notes, waveform and song sections while listening.
- Regenerate an individual section or the whole map.
Make it your own
Choose an environment and one of six color presets, or set note, wall and light colors yourself. Enter precise colors with HEX fields. Note and wall colors update in the preview. Restyle a finished map without regenerating its notes or audio. A light show is created during map generation; check the environment and lighting in game. From audio file to your map library
Import MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A or OGG. Add your own cover art and mapper name. Maps stay on your computer and can be exported again as ZIP files. For manual refinement, open the export in a compatible map editor.Maps for Quest and PC VR
Export a ZIP and install it using your usual custom-song workflow. The Steam edition can also send maps over USB to a modded Quest with custom-song support. On your computer
Audio analysis and map generation run locally, without an account or cloud service. The generator uses audio analysis and placement rules, with no AI or machine learning. Before you buy
SliceForge is a separate desktop utility for creating maps; it does not run Beat Saber. Playing requires Beat Saber and custom-song support, including a compatible modded installation on Quest. SliceForge does not install mods. Music and the game are not included.Automatically generated maps may need refinement. Results depend on the recording and settings. Preview the layout before playing and check the movements in your headset.
SliceForge is an independent product and is not affiliated with Beat Games or Meta. Use audio you have permission to use.
