The Doll Shop

Description

Part romance, part horror, The Doll Shop is the tale of a quiet, secretive dollmaker living in the Japanese countryside. When his childhood friend returns to the village, he must choose between his beloved dolls and the hope of a new life... if it’s not already too late.

A Blend of Adventure Game and Visual Novel

Freely explore the village, enter homes and shops, and talk to the locals. But choose your words carefully – they may have consequences.

An Emotional Journey

The Doll Shop focuses on the emotional states of its characters. There’s a strange comfort in its horror and twisted charm in its romance.

A Unique Art Style

Every detail of the game is hand-drawn by Atelier Sentô, a comic artist duo inspired by the snowy landscapes of northern Japan, where they used to live.

A Complete Remake

First released as a free prototype made during a masterclass with students, The Doll Shop has been entirely rebuilt with new artwork, music, and dialogue.

● Repair creepy dolls and reunite them with their owners.
● Explore a small Japanese village: visit the shrine, soak in the public bath, and more.
